Look Who I Found....

It's a "first" for her...yikes!!!

WHEW...it's been a while.

First Day of school at Northview's Preschool. She loves her Daddy and this picture says it all. She's getting so big!!! Too big... She actually picked this whole outfit out at the store. I think she did a great job and looked so cute on her first day.
BFF's...these girls walked all the way down to their room holding hands.
First Day of School...deep breath. I am already dreading next year's Kindergarten and school bus ride. But this year she gets to go to Northview's Preschool for 3 days a week. She's so big. And Little Miss wild one hear is going to 2 days preschool. YES!!! I can grocery shop and maybe even cook something again.

She went to Cheerleading Camp this summer with her best friend. This is the group of girls practicing. They even performed for us on the last day and so cute.

Also, her first Sports Camp this summer with her friends from school. It was ADORABLE.

I really have a good excuse this time...I mean I moved, packed, unpacked, had a garage sale and endured a summer without childcare and two sweet baby girls...good enough, right? Plus I am not sure who my audience is anymore, but at least Jason has some pictures to show his clients of his girls. I do look at your blogs though, so keep posting so I can stay posted. ;)

Race for the Cure

We walked the Race for the Cure this year for a couple of reasons. One, selfishly is because I like to schedule events like this to get my rear in gear and exercise again. But most importantly is walking for a GREAT cause. I knew it was going to be pretty awesome to be walking for survivors and non-survivors of breast cancer with THOUSANDS of people downtown Indy. We explained to Soph what we were doing and she really put her heart into the experience too. So it was such a WONDERFUL experience that I would love to do again.
We walked with our neighbors across the street and we let the kids finish the race by running across the finish line!!! SO ADORABLE!!
Above...we were walking past the zoo and they pulled the elephant up to the fence with a big pink ribbon on her!! So cool for the kids!

Here's Emilie and I pushing the kids for part of the race. We had the double jogger for the big kids and Ada got the best seat in the house all snuggled up in her car seat.

There she is!!

Look at the SEA of people. There were a few times I got tearful. This was one!! It was just amazing to see all these people and most had pictures of their loved ones on their backs saying in honor of or a survivor. The teams had hilarious names...ya know...like Save the Ta Ta's. But they would announce these teams as we were walking and you could just cry thinking of these women fighting a big fight.

I thought of Dad that day. I walked for him too even though he had cancer of a different "part". We hope to walk the prostate cancer walk this year and let Dad walk in the Survivor's Parade!!! Thank you God for your healing power and the technology and doctor's and all the survivors who fight the good fight!! We honor all of you!!

Conner Prairie 2010

So we love Conner Prairie. We go there with family and friends from school. Here are some pictures of our recent visit. This is the before of sticking her finger in the hole of the Chicky cage... Ha Ha!! Here is the after. She got pecked!!
LOVES holding the chickies...

She was not afraid to milk the goat.
Awe...riding the saddle with her cousin...

Girls!!

I love having girls. Yes, we already argue and have lots of "feelings", but along with that comes a lot of sweet lovin'...in smiles in hugs...
in matching pink bows!!!

in hideouts with Daddy...

in friends from school...
in words...Sophie and I made necklaces and bracelets out of beads and Sophie says, "Mommy, do I look as pretty as Aunt Ninni?"
Quality time together doing crafts and playing games...

helping Mommy...

oh the smiles!!
Sisterly love...Mommy was in the shower and Ada was not having it. So the next thing I know she was quiet. I looked out of the shower to see this...Sophie had taken off Ada's sock and was massaging her foot.

This is the kind of love that lasts forever.

Some Iphone pics

What a great big sissy!!
I've got two daddy's girls now! She LOVES Jason!!!!

Nap time...can you see who fell asleep on the couch in the background?

I love this picture...it's like a paparazzi pic!!
Note Soph's outfit she put together ;)
This is Dad's dream come true (if he could only live at Menards). Soph had Mom and Dad lay down on the mattresses at Menards while she cooked them breakfast in the background!!
Daily Soph loves to go upstairs and surprise us with dressing herself. She's into dresses lately and putting on her own hose. Typically her dresses are her summer ones, so when we go out like the picture above we just layer. Ah the joys of a little girl :)

Ada reached out and Sophie grabbed her hand. I hope this is the way they feel about each other forever!!

Here we are going home from the hospital. We'll always remember this experience with the H1N1 and hospital visitor restriction.
This is their first time meeting one another. It was precious and Ada knows and loves her big sissy. It's so precious. Thanks for all the prayers and thoughts. We are back in the newborn stage again and hanging in there!! Enjoying the best Christmas gift ever!!
